Drawn from the rich folklore of Water Goddesses and Mermen, Black Mermaids traveled with the enslaved to comfort them on the ships that took them away from their homeland. The Nubian Heritage Quilters Guild celebrates their 29th Anniversary with this virtual program and a much anticipated quilt exhibit on view Sundays through July14th from 12 to 3 pm.  Registration for the virtual program here.
